Ivo Overheard:

• While admiring my new pink wool socks, Ivo asked me "What number are they?" He wanted to know the price!


• When Ivo tries to read double digits, like "27" or "33," he says "2-the-7" and "3-the-3."


• Ivo and Ryan are reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at bedtime. Ivo and I were discussing Charlie Bucket and how his family is so poor and how that means he doesn't have money to buy toys and even doesn't always have enought food, Ivo said, "...But Spiderman jump in that book and find all the people and give them some food and some jobs and some money."


• Ivo told me this joke today, "Why did the chicken cross the road?" - "Because he wanted to get to the other chickens who were eating seeds at the farmer's barn."


• When looking at his alphabet puzzle, Ivo asked "Where is l-o-men-o-p?"
  

Burl BabelOn:

• "Light on."


• "Light off."


• "Down."


• "Nummy"


• "Tada!!!" - after accomplishing something


• "Hop" for help.

Also Burl correctly identifies colors; purple, blue, yellow and red. He can accurately identify most of the animals in his big animal picture book. He pushes his chair around the house in order to reach things he wants - and when he can't quite maneuver it himself, he gets help. Burl is very very happy with himself lately!

Ivo and Burl played at Connell Park yesterday, came home, took a bath, ate an excellent supper - all seemed right on track. Burl slept from 7:30-8:30pm and then was up til midnight. Ivo didn't go down til... late. Both guys got up at 8am today. Burl's sleeping now but Ivo's still going strong.

Everyone's happy but we need more sleep!!!
